YouTube Data Analysis

Our project delves into YouTube data to detect and understand coordinated inauthentic behavior, focusing on cross-platform link-sharing dynamics. By identifying networks that rapidly share links from unreliable sources, we examine their impact on video engagement and community influence. Through mixed methods research, we reveal the reach of these networks beyond their platform of origin, shedding light on the complexities of online information warfare. Our findings underscore the need for comprehensive strategies to address manipulation and misinformation across social platforms, providing insights crucial for enhancing digital security and combating online threats effectively.
