The primary goal of the Bluesky Analysis project is to detect, analyze, and combat the spread of misinformation and disinformation on Bluesky Social. The project focuses on newer platforms like Bluesky Social, which utilize decentralized architectures. Unlike traditional social media platforms that rely on centralized servers and moderation, decentralized platforms operate using different technologies. Bluesky works on the AT Protocol which is a new architecture built for decentralized social networks. The project has amassed a significant amount of data, with over 174 million data points collected thus far.
