It is important to recognize the value of studying platforms associated with a particular political leaning. Here, we examine the dissemination of neutral Wikipedia links on alt-right platform Truth Social. By scrutinizing the posts, identifying toxicity trends & recognizing coordinated networks, we unveil the intricacies of the type and engagement of content with Wikipedia links (Wiki Truths) is shared on Truth Social. Given the significantly different engagement and toxicity levels of Wiki Truths against Non-Wiki Truths, we emphasize that we should not generalize the techno-political affiliation of a social media platform, but rather investigate into the content closely.
